Academic Internship Learning Work Plan - Fall/Spring Semester
Academic Internship Learning Work Plan - Summer Session
Students who are completing internships and intend to obtain college credit for their work should complete this packet.
Course Approval Form
Intended for students who plan to complete coursework at an institution other than UC Merced and need to have that coursework reviewed for applicability to their major, minor, or direct UC Merced course equivalency. Note, this form is to only be used for review of courses housed within the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts.
General Petition Form
This form is for use when petitioning for course substitutions, exceptions to School policies, or other requests not covered by the other forms listed on this site. This petition is now a webform; as of August 3, 2020, PDF petition submissions are not accepted. Processing Time: Generally 4-8 weeks.
Petition for Excess Units
Intended for students who wish to complete 20 units during the Fall and Spring semester, and 16 units during summer session. Processing Time: Generally 2-3 business days.
SSHA Multiple Major Application Packet Submission
Intended for primary SSHA students requesting to declare multiple majors. Submission requires a completed Multiple Major Application Packet and a graduation plan for review.
Subsequent Course Repeat
Students who need to attempt a course in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts for a third (or subsequent) time should complete this form. For more information regarding course repeats, please click here. Processing Time: Generally 2-4 weeks.
