Academic Advisor Walk-In Hours

IMPORTANT

  • Academic Advisors will only available via walk-in hours from November 2-13, 2020. Academic Advisors will be available via ppointments the week of November 16, 2020.

  • Virtual walk-in hours are now available for students. Please click on your Academic Advisor's Zoom link below to meet with them during their walk-in hours.

*Note: Advising assignments depicted below are for non-first year SSHA students. All first-year students are advised within the Bobcat Advising Center.

Monday: 2-4pm
Tuesday: 2-4pm
Wednesday: 10am-12pm
Thursday: 10am-12pm
Friday: CLOSED

Effective March 30, 2020, all walk-in hours will be hosted via Zoom.

  • You will need to join walk-in hours via the link or phone number provided for your assigned Academic Advisor on the noted day and time.
  • You will enter a virtual Waiting Room until your assigned Academic Advisor becomes available.
  • Your assigned Academic Advisor will welcome you to the meeting it is your turn to speak with them.
    • Should you not be responsive once you are welcomed to meet with your Academic Advisor, you will be placed back in the Waiting Room while another student is helped.
    • When that meeting is over, you will be welcomed again to the meeting with your assigned Academic Advisor.
    • Should you not be responsive again, you will be removed from the meeting and the Waiting Room.
  • Once your session has ended, your Academic Advisor will reqeuest that you remove yourself from the meeting.
  • Once an Academic Advisor closes/locks their session, no further students will be allowed to enter the Waiting Room.
