As a first-semester reentry student in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts, you'll complete a Reentry Transition Meeting (RTM) during your first regular term returned with your Degree Completion Program Academic Advisor (Darlene Saavedra or Elizabeth Whitmyre). We hope that meeting with you early in your return will assist you in transitioning back to UC Merced and provide an opportunity to discuss your degree requirements and graduation plan, any important course sequencing in your major, and your anticipated graduation date.
Reentry Transition Meeting Appointments for Spring 2026 will be available beginning March 2, 2026, and must be completed by March 26, 2026.
What to Expect at Your RTM Meeting:
- Learn how to read and interpret your MyDegreePath audit
- Create a graduation plan and mapping out remaining semesters at UC Merced
- Establish intended or possible graduation term
- Establish your intended courses for next semester
- Review any transfer coursework to ensure everything is correctly applied
- Go over any questions or concerns
