Academic Advisor Walk-In Hours

Academic advising assignments depicted below are for non-first year SSHA students. All first-year students are advised within the Bobcat Advising Center.

*Academic advisor availability is on a first-come, first serve basis (there may be a wait time, so your patience is greatly appreciated).

**If your academic advisor is not available on a day/time that works with your schedule, you may meet with any available academic advisor for assistance.

***There is no guarantee students will be seen if they show up for walk-in hours in the last 15 minutes of scheduled walk-in hours.

When joining SSHA Academic Advising Virtual Walk-In Hours, please note the following: 

1. Please  join our SSHA Academic Advising Virtual Walk-In hours using your student UC Merced Zoom account. 
2. Upon clicking the Zoom link, you will join our main session where you will be greeted and checked-in by our receptionist.
3. Once checked-in, you will be placed back into the virtual waiting room until a SSHA Academic Advisor or Peer Navigator becomes available.
4. Based on student's need(s) and academic advisor availability, you will be referred to the corresponding academic advisor's breakout reoom.
5. Once your session has ended, your academic advisor will inform you how to leave the meeting.
